Overview: McLeod Safety’s Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee & Safety Representatives program was created to assist employees in understanding their roles and responsibilities as stated in the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Course Objectives: Students will learn how to setup and function as an effective workplace safety committee or representative. They will cover topics such as the legislative framework of the committee, workplace inspections, incident/accident investigation methods, addressing work refusals, communication skills, and much more.
Who Should Attend: Employees who sit on the organizations Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee or have been chosen as the Safety Representative
